D&D Day 15: Split the Party 3

"My memory of the events are a little bit hazy, but I will try my best to recall what happened. I was trapped in some kind of time warp alternate reality thing, or something," Ayboru, Ace Reporter and Hero Beholder.



Orcs of the Mountain Pass
Star: Torion/Hadarai/some Drow Paladin

Our heroes were joined by a Drow Paladin who coincidentally was journeying along the mountain pass. His name escapes me, probably because he wasn't important. The party fought against Orc Pummelers and Orc Death Mages. Vaca Baka Torion complained because the Pally was taking all the damage instead of the minotaur... The Inept Adept wizard Hadarai of the Coast threw orcs off the mountain using his arcane powers. Also, the mountain was starting to shake, but they probably didn't notice the small tremors.


Orphans In the Forest
Stars: Thorry the Reckless/Vanielle Everchange

Intending to drink his ale instead of venturing into the underground complex, the Swordmage Dwarf  Soren slowed the party down. Thorry the Reckless tried to cajole the dwarf into joining the party but he was especially stubborn. Vanielle found a pit full of tiny childsized bones. It doesn't seem like the orphan elf assassin can get a break. Well, she is an elf so tough luck. In the narrow passageways, the group fought dark elves who pretended to aid the party after being "saved" from brainwashing. Of course, their loyalty to the Spider Queen Lolth, or her brainwashing control of them, prevents them from whatever dark creature was controlling the other elves and fey creatures in the forest.

Despite his armor being a complete mismatch, Thorry the Reckless managed to keep his armor and it didn't crumble into dust. Quite strange how a Tiefling Bard can be valorous.
